July 2010 update:

Little Dan Do It ( or Big Danny) is back and doing well after his 2 and a half month lay off . His first week back, We went to the Big Salinas Ro day O. Yes that is how they say it in Salinas. There were 136 tough entrys. We place well in the second round and ended up 15th in the Average. I was soo Happy to have my horse back.
You just don't know how much you can miss riding one like Danny. Salinas is really different. The barrels are set on the Race Track. There is no entry gate and sometimes the horses don't understand they are even in a arena. That may have effected our first run. There is a standard 60 foot score (and that is the only thing standard about it) Barrels one and two are 53 feet apart (yes and Danny is over 16 hands) then on to barrel three where they did throw up a back fence. Barrel 3 is 101 feet down there from barrel 2. Who came up with 101 feet? Well they have been doing this for 100 years now, so they must know what they are doing.

God is there horses in Heaven? I would love to think so. So many good ones are born, and so many great ones go. To some people they are just animals running wild and free. But the horses I have loved meant so much more to me. When I look outside my window and see her empty pen. I feel I've lost more than a horse, rather a really good friend. Thank you for sending her, and all the memories make me feel blessed. When you choose this horse for me, you gave me TRULY THE BEST.
