    Kati Phillipps and Otro Sonador won the BRN4D Lyndee Stairs Barrel Horse TrainerFuturity Febuary 20th and was in the 1D. This was only her 4th Competitive run.

    A Note From Lyndee:        2/2/18/2010

    We are still in Arizona and have been here since the first of the year. We have been training horses out of the Buckeye Equestrian Center since then. It has worked out really well. Arizona has had its share of rain also but, there are two indoor arenas when it rains. There are also four outside arenas. So the horses really get to see a variety of different setups. We plan on doing this again next year. So, if you want to get your horse jump started for the spring and summer season, let us know and we can take it in for training next January. If you want to see what our training methods look like, go to my Stallion Page and watch some of his young offspring at work.We will be home March 1st and hopefully the arena will be dry and we will be back in action. Can't wait to see the new foals that will be born this spring. It is always an exciting time. What has been most exciting to me here in Arizona, has been watching some of the horses that
    we have trained compete and win.

    I would really like to congratulate Will Sawyer on his great runs. He has been running consistently in the 1D on LL Cat Man Do. Has even clocked a 17.2 on a standard pattern.

    Little Famous Amos has also been running consistently in he 1D with him. He won the last 2009 futurity he entered on him . Also, Will has run a 17.7 pattern on Rene Bugs Alive already and only purchased him the first of the year. Cari Carlson has also done a great job with WR Jettin Qupie. And Susan Edwards is coming along great with Groove Jet. They will be running in the 2010 Futurities and are right on track. Kati Phillipps is doing great with Otro Sonador and is consistently running in the 2D and really looks like she will be in the 1D in no time at all. I know there are others out there but, these are the ones that I have been watching run in Arizona. Please feel free to up date me with all of your successes. I love to hear it. Training and maintaining a barrel horse is a life long work in progress. Our training methods can only give a horse a great foundation. It is up to the new owner to continue with the horses education. I can only hope that the rest of you enjoy the process as much as I do. Every day that I get to ride is a gift. Lyndee
